• "processing" means any operation or set of operations which is carried out with or without the aid of automated processes and involves personal data. The term is broad and covers practically every handling of data.
• The "responsible" is the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.
• "You" means the visitor or user of the Website. "Processor" means any natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller

Purposes and legal bases of data processing

Within the scope of using the App speakton, your personal data will be collected, processed and used in compliance with the applicable data protection laws. The data processing is always earmarked.

Personal data will only be processed if it is necessary for the technical administration and operation of the App speakton. All technical measures have been taken to protect the data. The servers used by the App speakton are located in Germany.

In accordance with Art. 13 DSGVO, the legal basis for data processing will be communicated at the required places. If the legal basis is not mentioned in the data protection declaration, this shall apply:

The legal basis for obtaining consent is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a and Art. 7 DSGVO, the legal basis for processing to fulfil our services and carry out contractual measures as well as answer enquiries is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, the legal basis for processing to fulfil our legal obligations is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DSGVO, and the legal basis for processing to safeguard our legitimate interests is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. If there are vital interests that require the processing of personal data, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. d DSGVO.

Collection and storage of personal data as well as type and purpose of their use when using the App speakton

When downloading the App speakton, the necessary information is transmitted to the App Store, in particular user name, e-mail address and customer number of your account, time of download, payment information IP address and the individual device code number. I have no influence on this data collection and am not responsible for it.

When using the app speakton currently no personal data are collected.

Collection and storage of personal data when contacting us

If you contact us via e-mail, your information will only be stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry. After completion of your request the data will be deleted automatically.

Data processing for the purpose of establishing contact takes place in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a DSGVO on the basis of your voluntary consent.

Access rights of the app speakton

Internet access (network access and access to network connection) is required to use the app speakton. This enables communication with the servers. Data that is exchanged over the Internet between the app and the servers is transmitted over an encrypted connection.

In addition, access to the audio settings is required for the use of the app speakton to enable the output of voice files.

Further access rights are not necessary for the use of the app speakton.

Disclosure of data

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed below.

Personal data will only be passed on to third parties if:

• you have given your express consent to this pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO,
• the disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in not disclosing your data,
• in the event that there is a legal obligation to pass on data pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c DSGVO, and
• this is legally permissible and required for the execution of contractual relationships with you pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b DSGVO.
• If we commission third parties with the processing of data on the basis of a so-called "contract processing agreement", this is done on the basis of Art. 28 DSGVO.

Rights concerned

You have the right:

• to request information about your processed personal data;
• immediately request the correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored about you;
• demand the deletion of your stored personal data, unless processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfil a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims;
• to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data;
• to revoke any consent you have once given to us at any time. The consequence of this is that we may not continue the data processing based on this consent for the future, and
• to complain to a regulatory agency.

Data security

Your data will be protected against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or against unauthorized access by third parties by suitable technical and organizational security measures. The security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

Right of objection

If personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests, it is possible to object to the processing if there are reasons to do so which result from your particular situation or if the objection is directed against direct advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right of objection, which is implemented by us without stating a particular situation.
